I have an alarm as well now. I think an alarm helps us to feel safer. We were broke into about 3 years ago. Something I will never ever forget about. We used to have Shadow penned up. So he couldn't get to them. Now, he runs free. I will never put him in a pen again. Hubby also took days in teaching me how to shoot. I have been completely trained on a gun now.
And let me just say, I am a pretty good shot! Lol.
