Cute picture! Boy, can I ever relate to what you are saying here! Kip is the QUEEN here. She will tell my brittany spaniel when to play and when outside she will run and play attack her 'like it will do any good'. She is SO funny. She loves to play tag. She just wants the attention all the time! If our two cats growl at each other, Kip will bark and break them up. If they want to sleep Kip will wake them up with kisses. Not only that but she thinks she is also a herding dog. When we go out to feed the horses, she thinks it's her job to corral them into a circle and barks until they move to where she wants them to stand! She is SO brazen!
Of course we encourage it because she is so cute, but seriously we have to watch her or she'll get into trouble sometimes. We are really lucky that all our animals love each other and wouldn't think of hurting her. They just stand there and let her have her way. Your golden has it all figured out I think. He sounds really gentle and that is a great combo to have with a yorkie around the house!
