I'm sorry Pixie is going through this.
You have said she keeps preferring one area of the house & it made me think back to a thread a while ago where the pup could hear or smell a possum in the crawl space. Any chance it could be something like that or even a tree branch rubbing on the roof or something that you may easily ignore or not even notice but maybe it's spooking her?
Just a thought, hope Pixie is feeling better soon.
