My Yorkie book says that Yorkie birth weights are between 2 and 9 ounces, and that they double their birth weight by 7-10 days of age. I don't understand how a 5 week old puppy could weigh 6.4 ounces. That is smaller than some newborns. I would skip this puppy and get a larger one. Even if you want a tiny one, I don't think it's worth the risk.
