All Life Stages food are great, why don't you want to feed one?
To be honest, most puppy, senior, breed specific formulas are all a big marketing gimmick. If you compare and contrast ingredients, protein, fat, etc, they're generally all the same. Large/giant breed puppy owners must look out for calcium and phosphorus levels but that's about it.
I don't really see a reason to feed a puppy food. I prefer a food that is for all of their life stages.
Solid Gold is pretty good ingredient-wise but I know nothing else about it and have no personal experience with it.
I have had great luck with Acana and we are just trying Taste of the Wild and I am extremely pleased with it thus far!
