I was scared to death to do nails. My daughter in law is a vet tech and she showed me on a couple of the nails and then guided me through doing the rest myself. I was so scared on the first couple and then it was like..this isn't so hard. I did get Bogie's in the quick, but used they styptic pen and it stopped bleeding immediately. (I barely nicked the quick and he didn't even jump) Just make sure you have the styptic pen or powder just in case. If I can do nails(and I am a wimp) anyone can
