Connie I am so sorry that your baby is hurt. My little poodle hurt his back jumping off of the bed when he was 5yrs old,it was in the middle of his back. He got to were he would sit and stare at me when his back hurt. I would apply heat and give him his pain meds. This routine worked for many years and gave him relief very quickly. Getting him relief before the pain and swelling could build were the key to a quick recovery. The times that I just didn't understand what he was trying to tell me it took a little longer.
