i took mine to a groomer and she came back with every single nail quicked. i was furious and never went back there. i do my own nail trims now and rarely do i quick them and it's usually only ONE nail per trim which is NO BIG DEAL. sure it kinda hurts them and it bleeds and you just apply quick stop and it's over. not a big thing and it's much cheaper and better than the bad groomer quicking ALL of their nails.

you'll get better at it as you go. just line up the trimmer with the pad of the foot and cut anything that's curling past where the blade lays when laying flat against the pad of the foot. i know that doesn't make sense in writing but there are diagrams showing you how to do it proper.
