i highly suggest you DO NOT use any form of electric shock collars on a yorkie. that's asking for a lifetime of health issues, mistrust, and more problem behaviors. plus a shock collar could KILL a yorkie, they are too small to be using them. a spray collar is a more effective tool but I still don't think they are neccesary at all. simply use a squirt bottle or shake a penny can at her or keep her more occupied when you study with a toy, treat or chewie. if she barks at you get up and walk away from her. turn your back to her completely. you have to ignore her attempts at attention with more than just not looking up but with body language too. moving away and turning your back shows that you will not give attention to barking at all. don't back down and don't give in to her.

hope that helps. and by all means do not hit her or hurt her in any way at all.
