Thanks so much, Kristin. You have always been so kind to me, and I appreciate what you wrote and you. I'm hoping each day gets better with Max' eye. You have such beautiful and special boys.

You had 17 wonderful years with your little girl and I know how thankful you are to have had her that long. Remember the good times and I hope after today things get a little easier. It takes time. You never forget them but time does help when you can once again talk about them without crying. What a beautiful little girl. You were blessed. RIP sweet little darling. |
Thank you, Sandy, for both of your notes. We were so lucky to have Ashley's love for so long. Even with her dementia, we weren't sure she knew we were her mommy and daddy, but she knew we adored her, and we could tell how much she loved us. It got more challenging to care for Ashley, but we grew to love her even more, if that's even possible. She definitely had me very active, walking most days with her for a couple of miles or more. With Anipryl to help her, we are convinced she was a happy little girl her entire life, and we in turn knew such happiness from her. I think of your love with Tina, and I always keep both of you in my prayers and also the same for Kayla, Dudley, and Lexi.
