Yeah, we go through phases like that too. Things will go along smoothly for a while then BOOM - messes everywhere.
Sometimes it's because one of them is not feeling well or has tummy issues; sometimes it's because I'm too busy and not home enough to maintain my schedule . . it's hard to say.
Lucy will sneak downstairs to our basement family room when no one is looking. When I see her little nose trying to open that door - I KNOW - she has to go the bathroom and send her outside. But when I don't see her little nose trying to open the basement door - there is usually a surprise waiting for me!
And I have cream color carpet so . . . . I feel your pain.
