I have heard of these types of stories in the past and it was not just tongues but children's fingers, cat tails, even hair. Since this happened I know that paper shredders now have technology that will shut them off immediately if skin touches the shredding area. Obviously, this was a very large concern and happened many times for there steps to be taken. Very sad.
