great rant .. and I think we all could add a lot more!!!
I will say... the first dog I got for my grils (about 12 years ago) was well cared for but I did not have a clue!! I didn't even tell my dh I was getting him because I thought he would not notice. Sebastain was a 7 lb pomerianain and ..well... he was noticed. My thing is.. I got him and it was MY responsibility to keep him and care for him. I have been learning everyday about dog care sense that day
some not so much fun, but all part of the package!!
