I made the mistake of putting mine in the window & all of the leaves dried & crumpled up. I moved it into the hallway & it's growing like crazy, more than it has the last 4 years I've had it. It hardly gets any sunlight, if any at all, but I guess it's used to it from growing under a canopy in the wild.
