I had the same problem last year with my son Lab, they stayed with us for a few months...and now I have a new 9 mos old girl Ivy that digs...but I did some research last year when Hank was digging to china...and I found...that if you take their poop and put it in the area they are digging in it will stop them cause they don't like their own poop. I did it and it worked, Hank stopped digging and so has Ivy....Its the same as if...they won't poop or pee where they sleep...well they won't dig where there is poop either....she might start a hole else where, you just have to keep putting poop there but they will stop after a few trys...good luck...let me know how it works...it worked great for us.
