My 14 year old toy poodle prefers the floor for the coolness. Thank goodness Cupcake is only 5 months old and still wants to cuddle with me. I'll be sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag if she ever leaves the bed. My husband didn't mind too much
since I spent the first two weeks on the floor next to the bed because we were afraid she'd fall off when she was 8 weeks old.
