You guys have such great ideas! I'm going to try them all, lol.
I had maintenance come last year as it was our first summer & it was so hot up here. They can check the amount of ??? and pressure of ??? & they said it was all great as the unit is brand new. It's just the rising heat & the afternoon/evening sun that's killing us. I left one slat of the venetian blinds open so Princess could lay in the sun but she only wanted to for a sec. She wanted on the balcony where I have something she can get in to get wet, it was so funny. She walked out about two steps then plopped down! At least she didn't want to go back & I didn't feel evil for not letting her.
I'm going to try the rag w/the thermostat, look at the mat & bandana, make her some kind of frozen treat, I could even go buy a bag of ice & put it in something on the floor in front of the fan.
I'm desperate, I'll try anything! lol. As far as taking her in public buildings she's petrified, she does great at parks, etc. but I think she associates stores with groomers & vets.
