A few years back I got fried with patches of blisters, it was horrible. The best advice I finally got was to put good normal lotion on it, like lubriderm, eucerin, etc. I was burnt so bad some of my nerve endings had to actually grow back together & the pharmacist said the best help is to keep it super moisturized.
Be careful if you buy the burn sprays as some have alcohol which will only worsen it. I agree, the lidocaine/aloe mixes are the best for pain relief & to sleep or do something vigorous I'd take some ibuprofen. I'm not a doc of course.
