It just takes time, My first Yorkie Tessie is 2 years old, she was a gift to me for Mothers Day 2 years ago. She has always loved my husband more than me, he rocks her in the recliner and she has her own special place in the chair. She really doesn't care anything about me. So I got 2 males (both neutered) at separate times, and they love both of us. Tessie wasn't real happy either time but she got along good with them after several weeks. I decided I wanted another girl so I got Sassy 5 months ago, the boys love her and Tessie hates her and me too now, Sassy is really wild and picks on Tessie. But now I have my little girl that loves her mama and follows me everywhere and gets so excited to see me. So yes it can work out just takes, time, patience and love. Everything at our house, eating, treats, toys etc. is always done in the order of when they came to live, Tessie, Hobbes, Calvin an Sassy and they know this. |
