I love my little male yorkie, he is so attached to me (the boyfriend says it's unhealthy and we'd probably die without each other, lol
) You made the right choice, a neutered male dog tend to be way more sweet and people loving than their female counter-parts, IMO.
You just got to let your pups work their differences out, I wouldn't allow any unsupervised play until they have proven to be "buddies".
