I had my puppy microchipped when she was spayed in February. She was just over 6 months old at the time. In the last week or so I noticed a bump about the size of a grain of rice (same shape - long cylindrical and hard) on her right front shoulder. Could it be her microchip? Will it cause her any problems being there?
I have an appointment to have her groomed the week after next and the groomer is at the vet's office. She will be getting a vaccination that day too. Should I ask them to have the tech check to see if it is the chip? Or could it be something else that can't wait that long?
