Pippa was found near a university building by an English professor. He placed a "found" sign in the english building. He also called the animal shelter who immediately knew it was our Pippa cause we only called them about 100 times in 24 hours. He declined a reward and said "I have little dogs at home and hope someone would do the same for me." Because of the "found" sign, you wouldn't believe the number of students who called me because they had seen my "lost" signs. I thanked each and every one of them because it was almost like a dragnet-and it really worked. Going door to door with pictures of Pippa that I had made at Wal-mart also helped. Our phone number in black permanent marker on the back of the picture. Don't give up...I hope Sulli will be found. By the way, all the area newspapers ran the Lost Pet ads for FREE. |
