I had braces as a teen, too, and now my wisdom teeth are making their appearance! No fun! So I really do understand what you are going through. But... They (the braces) were completely worth it! The first thing anyone ever compliments me about is my smile, and I know it's because I have really straight teeth (I'm the retainer wearing type, so they have managed to stay really straight over the years
)
So take heart, because it's all worth it in the end!
