I totally know what you mean. I've actually had this one 2 yrs now, but had it set so only I could see it. That's happened to me before too where I got scared & went home to check on her. More than once... LOL. (Fortunately I live pretty close to work.)
Even a few days ago she she jumped against the side of her canvas pen that it rotated and I couldn't see her because of the way it's made. After a couple hrs not noticing her, I got nervous and called my home phone so she'd get up and walk to the door allowing me to see her. Of course, she was in there! but I messed up her good nap.
I've learned to not freak out as bad, but I still like being able to see her.
