As someone who has a few oldies in the house, I was afraid to read your post, but at the same time, want to hear about any seniors and how they are doing. I've been following Carlo's progress and am so glad to hear he is hanging in there. I truly hope he continues to live a quality life for a lot longer. Maybe the heat is getting to him? Or slowing him down? I hope that is the case. Carlo is one lucky big guy! I hope he holds the Corso Age Hall of Fame record!

I've noticed with my oldies that we go along with me feeling amazed and blessed they are doing so well, then suddenly I look at them and think, "Wow, Gracie, Opal, Monty and Peanut are looking so old, or they are walking so much instead of trotting everywhere they go!" Like a reality check for me. Age is catching up to them. And it scares me.
