I'm so sorry to hear about your grandchildren losing their father at such a young age.
Don't be too hard on yourself. When a sudden death occurs like that, many people initially flock around for support....it's a few weeks/months down the road, when the numbness starts to fade and the reality of it sets in, when you are often needed the most.
