Once Princess could come outside to potty it was around April-ish. In our complex there's a large potty area & tons of bees would be in the grass out there. I tried to keep her moving quick until it was potty time.
One time she stopped to sniff & before I knew what she was doing she lifted her head & shook it side to side, then opened her mouth & a bee flew out! I thought she got stung until a few months later when I realized she would've been crying out in pain.
We were walking again & this time it was evident she stepped on one. She babied her paw & cried for an hour, I felt terrible. The vet said to use benadryl for any swelling/difficulty breathing but she was ok other than the pain. She's still infatuated with the stupid things & I fear it will happen again.
