Congrats to you on your new furbaby! I have a girl and she is very cuddly and loving. I really think it depends on the dog not the sex of the dog. Just my opinion. But let me warn you, getting a girl needs to come with a warning sign. Lol. I have so many dresses and hairbows it is ridiculous.
She is just so much fun to buy for! Also, I think girls tend to be more "moody". Mine will let you know when she is mad at you!
But I would not trade her for all the money in the world. Good luck with your new baby.
