Hi and Welcome to YT!
When I introduced my Yorkies to my cats, I bought a cat tree for the cats to be able to get up and away if they wanted to, and made sure they have other places to go where the Yorkies can't get to them. So far, so good.
I use washable peepads for overnight and when I go out, but during the day they go outside. I bought a doggy litter box, but they really don't care too much for the litter or the box.
Puppies over 12 weeks of age are less likely to develope hypoglycemia. Keep a tube of Nutrical in the house. Feeding on a schedule helps, as does leaving some kibble out. Also limiting playtime, scheduling naps and treats in between meals can help prevent it. Also know how much the puppy eats though....
Nothing like being prepared....
