Hi, I don't have a Yorkie yet, but have started talks with a breeder. I've been reading a lot at YT and think this is a pretty cool board. Looking at everyone's pics gave me Yorkie fever, haha.
Anyway, I have a few questions. I have an 11 year old cat (who I've had since she was 12 weeks old). What would be the best way to go about introducing them to each other? She's a very mellow cat, just kind of wanders around looking for her next nap.
I'm also thinking of indoor potty training. I live in Alaska, and I've seen lots of toy dogs out and about, but I can't imagine making *my* dog go outside in the middle of January when it's oh-so-cold.

Does anyone here litter box train or use pee pads? I'm curious about your experiences. I'm open to outdoor training as well, just seriously considering indoor potty training.
What's the best way to prevent an onset of hypoglycemia? Do you feed on a schedule or leave food out all day?
I don't even have a dog yet and I'm already full of questions! I guess since I'm talking with a breeder it's getting closer to becoming a reality, I'm just excited!
