I have two boys that are extremely affectionate and attached to my husband and myself. They are also playful and fun. I have never had a female yorkie, but I've heard they can be a bit more independent. I think it actually more depends on the individual dog, rather than gender. Either way, both genders are great choices! Congratulations on a soon to be baby!
