Bella got stung by one of those last year, they fly really low and walk on our grass...She screamed like you wouldn't believe...scared me to death...I rushed her to the Vet...she got sick, was throwing up...but she was fine after about an hour, Thank god...And I was walking out in the yard last weekend picking up toys and throwing the ball for Harley and I guess I stepped on one, he got me...now I know why Bella yelpped so loud and long, it really hurt....I called my yard guy and told him we need to do something about them....not sure what he did...but I have noticed I don't see them flying or walking on my grass now...yay!!

I about have a fit every time I see one of these things. They hide in the grass and wait to get you. LOL
I think they are called Ground Digging Wasp's.
Wish you knew what your yard guy did to get rid of them.
