Thanks for the advice. I just spoke to an emergency vet and he suggested the same thing, no food for 12 hours and to let her lick on an ice cube so that is what she is doing right now. He suggested that if she becomes less active or more depressed to call back and he will meet me right away but so far she licked quite a bit of the ice cube and is now resting on my husbands lap.

Lucy is approx 6.5 pounds
Her gums are pink and seem to be moist
Her ears are not warm at all

I have tried posting three times but it will not show up!!
