I think your theory is correct! It definitely explains my bad exps w groomers and why I now groom myself!

I would def call to complain, ask for $ back and why I was not notified of a cut to that region!! I would also NEVER go back there again! That poor pup!
The cut is not a good one, but fortunately she is so cute even that cut could not dull her beauty!!
