I confess that we, as the strange human animal on this planet are difficult to keep happy.
In the winter we complain of the snow ice or cold in the summer we complain of the heat.
Here in England we often suffer water shortages due to the lack of rainfall but when it rains we complain of the rain.
We seem to lack the ability to accept that life is for living and come what may if we can see it then we are living.
At the age of 70 I have learned to
Let it rain as long as I can see it,
let it snow just allow me to feel it,
let it be hot just allow me the pleasure to enjoy it
let it thunder but allow me to hear it
Let there be lightening but allow me to experience it
if I can experience all the above then I know I am living my life and I am grateful for that.
It will not last for ever
