I have two small dogs and had a third - none of them would come to me when I call them. I am beginning to think it is a small dog thing. My neighbors have the same problem with their small dogs.
And - everyone I know with a big dog has no problem at all.
I am going to work hard to get my little Yorkie to come when I call him.
I know treats work - but occasionally, believe me, they will want to stay outside or wherever they are and skip the treat.
Whatever - I think it is a real problem with smaller breeds. But - I'm going to work on it!!!
