I know it sounds sickening, but in reality, that's the way most breeders sell. We think they take the time to really look at families, but few really care to do this. Look how many dogs are sold to completely unsuitable homes? Most breeders are running a “business”; they could care less about puppy placement. I think many who read YorkieTalk, have just learned to “talk the talk”, this one is just saying what most think. I do believe there are great breeders who truly care about their offspring; I just don't think they represent the majority of breeders.
