My brother is 29 and epileptic, my mom and I are convinced he doesn't take it seriously because 9 times out of 10 he forgets to take his medication and makes little effort to get it under control. Because of this he sometimes wakes up in the morning disorientated, fumbling around yelling etc.
This morning I was taking a shower and Lexie was in her usual spot downstairs by the sliding doors sunbathing. When I came out I heard him downstairs yelling. I ran downstairs screaming for Lexie and found the kitchen a mess with papers and dishes everywhere, things from the medicine cabinet thrown on the floor and the fridge moved away from the wall. Then to my horror Lexie was standing way up on the kitchen counter shaking.
I quickly snatched her up and thank god she wasn't hurt. I called my mom immediately and she says he has an apt with the specialist next week. When he came down again he said jokingly that he remembers putting her on the counter. I told him that its not funny and she could have been seriously injured. Now he says I'm putting a dog over him!

Sorry Im still a little shaken and just wanted to vent
