She had her first heat at 6months and another at 10 months so I'm not sure when the next one will be but I'm guessing soon. I think they are still a little young but I think if we oops it should be o.k. I don't know if my boy knows what to do when it's not a stuffed animal..
My guys are getting used to the snow now and love to roll in it and come in with little snow balls all over their hair

Thanks.....the puppies are now 8 weeks old and doing wonderful!! This is my first litter with Yorkies. I previously owned and bred mini-Schnauzers for years, I lived in Texas than (moved back in 98). I decided to breed my yorkies to see if I really wanted to get back into the breeding world again. I did have the pups spoken for before they were born....both to immediate family members! Abbey is coming up to 3 years, (5#...gained some weight which is good), and Beamer is 2 years (4#)!!
Abbey free whelped, but I had a vet assistant present as well as my vet on call both for office and telephone (which we called him 3x)...may let her have another litter (still undecided)....than that would be it for Abbey!
LOL.........the stuffed animal .....my gawd Beamer has a Monkey...(his hump monkey my hubby calls it).....I think on her (lady's) next heat you'll see abit more action.........how old is your boy? We used to keep our male shnauzers away from females prior to heat and during the heat.........than they paid attention to the females and they (female your breeding) would stand better for the male. We didn't have to do this with Beamer though...maybe the monkey helped ....who knows !!
Nope my two hate the snow!!..........pee pads here!
Hope you had a great New Years!
