Praying it is just a b12 deficiency! Ask her if the feeling in her fingers feels like her skin is crawling. Alot of the times b12 deficiency syptoms are similar to that of MS. Also if levels are low it can have neurological effects - which could be why she can't taste the lemon on her tongue. Does her tongue have spots on it? Poor little girl! She seems like a trooper! Please keep us posted!
