I agree, YorkieRose! I've known from day one that Lucy didn't come from the best breeding stock. Geez, I knew that from all the medical issues we've had to fix.
I'm still learning about breed standards, and I can clearly see that she doesn't look like some of the beautiful show dogs folks have in their avatars. She's a hot mess, but she's my little hot mess, and well, mamas always think their little baby is the most beautiful baby in the whole wide world - floppy ears and all!
