Congrats on getting a Yorkie!! There is nothing greater than being a new Yorkie momma!

As far as what you need, Steve just about covered it all for you. The only think I would add is Nutracal and maybe a bed. Once you get your baby you will see there are so many more things you will want to add!
I will warn you buying for a Yorkie is addicting!
As far as a vet, ask around. People talk. They will tell you who is good and who is not.
As far as making your puppy comfortable, when we got Rosie I just showed her lots of love. She was really nervous at first but seems to have really gotten over that!
