My groomer just told me that Lucy is not a Yorkie. I know that some Yorkies are black and gold, and I know that not everyone's baby's ears stand up, but I never thought for a minute that she might not be a Yorkie. Lucy is only 6 pounds. If she isn't a Yorkie, what is she? If she is a mix, what do you think she is mixed with? I adore this little girl so much. She is one of the most lovely and special things in my life. You were all so right in urging me to adopt and fix her up. She gets healthier and more wonderful every day. We are so bonded now (like peas and carrots). I'll love her no matter what she is, but darn, does this mean I'm not a Yorkie mommy? I don't want to leave my new YT friends.
