I was thinking today and I know it's random but I honestly love my little Yorkie. I love coming home to see his waggling little nub tail and big bat ears. I love in the morning that he's my 7:00 wake up call for breakfest and kisses. I love that he cuddles with me and watches chick flicks no matter what. I love that when I have had a bad day at work, he cuddles next to me and listens to every word without judging, and it usually ends in kisses. I love that when I'm sick he knows it and tries his hardest not to be too spunky. I love that he doesn't make a face when I sing out of tune, or complain that dinner was running a little too late. I love that when I'm sad, I get a comforting paw on my chest or forehead (whever he choses to sleep with me at) as if saying "It's okay Momma, I'm here for you." I love that I always have a bike riding partner. I love that I have my own living burglary alarm, neighborhood watch, and weather detection system all wrapped up into one furry package. I love that he lets me dress him up and all these outfits with no complaints and simply look at me with a look of complete tolerance. And I love that even though I scold him for doing bad things, for barking at the neighbors dog, for peeing on the floor, or trying to steal my sandwhich, I still have a 4 lb little fur ball who demands to have a spot in bed between his Momma and Dad.
I love my Gizmo, and he's my best friend.
