Congrats and best of luck. Make sure the pup is up to date on all shots. How are the pups parents as far as temperment and breed standard. You can read all about that here...YTCA.org

Sometimes it is easy to find a good vet, but harder to find a great one. Ask people with dogs where they go, and why. Where does your breeder go and why?

You will need a crate, X-pen, pee pads, bowls for food and water, FOOD that they are now eating, harness, leash, pick up bags, comb, brushes, shampoo, beds, chew toys. Take the dog to the Vet after you take possesion. What type of guarantee for health?

Yes, you can work on training the pup, but nothing like a good Puppy Kindergarten class for socialization. and some basic training. Do not let anyone hold your pup, because they can be squirmy and may job out of their arms and break a leg....Yes, we leaned the hard way. $3600 later, good as new.

There are some great people here. Any questions, just ask. I am still learning myself. Welcome aboard.
