Thanks for all of the posts, kind words and advice. I have continued to put in time and effort - the training has had a positive effect.
I think my feelings are more about the loss of Tate than Hermie. I knew that Hermie would be different and could never replace Tate. I just miss Tate's cuddly company. I love Hermie's energy, curiosity and playfulness. I still want to do everything I can to cultivate a close bond w/ Hermes, however I also love him for who he is.
Would appreciate any other thoughts or advice. YT community rocks! I'm so happy to be a member. |
