All my babies are microchiped, even the babies that go home to their forever families go with a chip and a clause in the contract that has me as a second contact, in case the owner surrenders the dog without telling me, I get a call and I will go and get my dog, it has work wonderfully so far. So I highly recomend chipping to anyone with a fur baby..
