My wife took our little guy to the vet for his first appointment yesterday. He is only 13 weeks. They gave her tri heart plus (I think for heart worm)...it's a round crunchy tablet...but it says for up to 25 pounds. He is only 2.7 pounds. Is that too much and is this too early to start him?

Also, they gave her Advantix green 0-10 pounds and told her to put it on his neck and BUM? I have used Advantix before on my previous dogs, but only put in on their necks...where on the bum do you put it...like the top of the tail or on the BUM BUM????
