 Food after liver shunt....
So the Vet has Calvin on the Hill's L/D...he says that he should stay on it...the thing is is that his poops are real loose and of course he wants to eat what Bella eats...Can anyone tell me what they feed their babies after having a liver shunt? I was hoping just to get him on a lower protein food like Natural Balance or something. Obviously it would be easier if I could feed them the same food. After his surgery his liver enzymes were still a little high so the vet said that he probably has micro shunts...Obviously I want to do what is best for him but if anyone has any advice that would be great! |
