If your vet is not treating her for tapeworms the infestation will continue. If the worms are white and you can see them move and they look like they are opening their mouths, then she has tapeworms. My vet recommends Drontal (sp?) You should be able to treat once but in your case, I would ask for 2 does so that she can be given a 2nd dose 10 days after the first killing all stages of hatchlings that occurred after the first dose. Without being there I can not tell but a vet should be able to tell you what kind of worm and the best protocol to treat that worm. It is best to stick with the original Drontal rather than the other off brands that are not always as effective. It sounds like you are really keeping up with the problem and taking wonderful care of her and hopefully you can get your vet to give you more information make sure he follows up on her progress. I imagine worm infestations are a pain to deal with and hope your vet provides you with the best information and recommendation. Take care, Mary
